A faster, cleaner way to check an IP address

IP.TUTI.LT is a free network utility that respects your privacy — no accounts, no stored lookups, and results computed live in your browser.

What is IP.TUTI.LT?

IP.TUTI.LT is a free web tool that instantly detects your public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and looks up any address on the internet. One search shows you the approximate location on a map, the ISP and organisation behind the network, its autonomous system number, the reverse DNS hostname, a VPN/proxy/Tor indicator, and the local time at the address — all on one clean page.

It runs as a single static page. There is nothing to install, no account to create, and no limit on everyday use. If you can open a browser, you can use it.

Why we built it

Checking an IP address is one of those tasks that comes up constantly — verifying a VPN, troubleshooting a router, checking where a server lives, filling in a firewall rule. Yet most lookup sites bury a simple answer under layers of ads, pop-ups, cookie walls, and upsells, and often take multiple clicks to show what you came for.

We wanted the opposite: a page that answers the question the moment it opens, tells you honestly how accurate the answer is, and doesn’t treat your visit as advertising inventory. IP.TUTI.LT launched in 2026 as part of the Tuti.lt family of free utilities.

How it works

The whole tool is client-side JavaScript running in your browser. When the page loads, it asks several independent public services for the pieces of the answer: ipify detects your public address over both protocols in parallel, ipwho.is and ipapi.co supply geolocation and network data, proxycheck.io contributes the VPN/proxy risk flag, DNS resolvers by Cloudflare and Google provide the reverse DNS hostname, and OpenStreetMap renders the map. If one service is slow or down, a fallback takes over automatically.

Because the site has no backend, there is no lookup history, no user database, and nothing for us to hand over. What you look up is between your browser and the data providers — the Privacy Policy spells this out in detail.

What we stand for

  1. Instant and honest. The answer appears on load, with its accuracy limits stated on-screen — an approximate city, not a street address; an indicator, not proof.
  2. Private by architecture. Not “we promise not to look” but “there is nothing to store”: a static page with no backend is the strongest privacy policy there is.
  3. Free, no strings. No sign-up walls, no email gates, no paid tier hiding the useful half of the results.
  4. Fast everywhere. A few kilobytes of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, a dark mode that follows your system, and a layout that works from a phone on a train.

Who it’s for

Developers use it to verify egress IPs, check reverse DNS, and confirm CDN or VPN configurations. Network administrators rely on the ISP and ASN rows when tracing routing oddities. Privacy-conscious users use the before-and-after VPN check described in the how-to guide. And everyone else gets a plain answer to the classic question: what’s my IP?

The Tuti.lt network

IP.TUTI.LT is part of Tuti.lt, a collection of small, fast, free web utilities built in Lithuania and used internationally. Each tool follows the same recipe: solve one problem really well, keep it free, and respect the visitor.
